About Founder
KisanBuddy was founded by CA MS Roy, a Chartered Accountant with deep experience in finance, compliance, and technology-driven platforms — and, more importantly, someone born and brought up in a farming village.
Growing up in a farmer family, he has seen first-hand how villagers and farmers struggle to access basic services — tractors, labour, veterinary help, transport, mandi agents, and local professionals — often relying on word-of-mouth, middlemen, or informal references. These gaps don’t just increase costs; they create delays, mistrust, and real losses on the ground.
With professional exposure to how unorganized systems distort pricing, trust, and accountability, the idea for KisanBuddy was born — not as a quick startup, but as a long-term, ethical rural infrastructure initiative. The goal is simple: bring structure and transparency to rural services without copying exploitative commission-driven models.
KisanBuddy is being built ground-up with a village-first mindset, combining lived rural experience with professional discipline — prioritizing trust, sustainability, and farmer welfare over rapid or artificial scale.
